Growing Up So Fast

So... it is really hard to believe that my first grandson is almost 8 months old.  Crazy how fast they grow.  He started pulling himself up to a standing position on random items throughout the house.  Eeks.  However, I am very proud of his mom and dad.  They both graduate from high school this Thursday.  It isn't easy being a mom and dad while in high school and be great parents.

Crazy Day.... Crazy Weather

It is proving to be quite the journey in opening up our own thrift store.  Who knew it would be so much work.  And the weather in our area is also proving to be a huge challenge.

What a Beautiful Day

Well I did it.  I kept my promise and got up early this morning to go for a bike ride.  It is a beautiful morning to do so.  Very peaceful and pretty out this a.m.  It is going to be a very busy day today.  My daughter and I are trying to open a new retail store.  We just received the keys yesterday.  So today after my real job we will be painting and filling in holes from the previous shop.  Wish us luck.  Have a great day.

My How Time Flies

It is amazing to me to see that my first post has been that long ago.  I am a very busy person.  By day I work in a special education classroom and have a second job doing medical billing.  After that my daughter and I are attempting to open a thrift, consignment and antique store in our home town.  My life is a little crazy these days.

Happy Easter Everyone.  I hope you are all enjoying your families like I am.  This is my grandson's first Easter.  He is 6 months old.  I am really looking forward to enjoying the day with him.
